Golf games are commonly played by people who want to have nice, peaceful time playing a game which doesn’t stress them out. The game is also played when there are informal meetings to be held. The area where the ball is struck with the golf club is called the “teeing area”. The whole purpose of the game is to put the ball into the hole in the fewest number of strokes as possible. There are 18 such holes. The area which has the hole in it is known as the “putting green”. There are proper rules and etiquette to be followed when playing this game so it is necessary that one is aware of them.
